if statement - Php retrieve query and use in If statment -

Okay, I'm trying to do something that I can normally do in ASP, but someone Reading the documentation for the reason, I can understand why this statement is showing my code.

Am I just trying to retrieve a query string? Fs = success

If true, show html, if I do not do anything then where do I go wrong because the page displays the code, even if no query string exists Thank you

  if ($ _GET ['fs'] =' success') {echo "div class = 'container'>
gt;

thank you,

We have received your message and will come back to you soon. Will go! , "; }

sets = single, assumes double equal value.

  if ($ _GET ['FS'] == 'success') {
