What is the user-agent string when we open the Facebook app from Android mobile? I use the user-agent string I want to find the Facebook app, it's worth getting. Whether the user-agent string for different apps for the Facebook app
Mandatory disclaimer: User agent Strings are usually a bad way to find out if they change the wrong answers, they are incompatible.
He said, testing today on Samsung Galaxy S5 with a fresh install FB app, I found:
Mozilla / 5.0 (Linux; Android 5.0; SM-G920P build / LRX21T; VV) Apple WebKat / 537.36 (KAHTML, like GECO) Version 4.0 / Chrome / 43.0.2357.121 Mobile Safari / 537.36 [FB_IAB / FB4A; FBAV / 35.0.0.48.273;]
Parts of 'FB' are clearly visible on Facebook's information. I think that:
- FB_IAB: Facebook In-App Browser (after a version)
- FBAV: Facebook App version (after one version)
FABAV has been shared with the iOS user-agent string as found here:
