Creat an image from Google Compute Engine instance -

I am trying to replicate a new example with my current example in Google Compute Engine (in compliance with Google instruction)

In Step 3 (end my example), I'm following the instruction ($ gcloud calculation example example -keep the example -keep-disks boot) However, it still asks me whether I want to delete this example altogether:

The following examples will be deleted. The attached disks configured for automatic deletion will be removed until it is connected to any other instance. Deleting a disk is irreversible and any data on the disk will be lost. Do you want to continue (Y / N)? N

Am I still able to recover this example or am making the image of my current example as a Google Instruction? If anyone tries to repeat Google Compute Engine, please let me know thank you!

I have just tested this command on my account and my example is "--keep-disk boot "This option keeps the boot disk in spite of the warning message, which says" The compartments configured for auto-deletion will be removed ..... "

You can also use the Developer Console Uncheck "Delete boot disk" under your instance property, the example is deleted and then there Clear examples.
