I am working on one that uses the library internally to exchange data between building blocks I am
In the chronicle line, it uses disk space to store the attached objects and increases in space with each new message.
As I have used the message for once - play again is supported by Kafka's processing element - processed elements can be removed and thus the disk space can be cleared. Is there a way to remove the space open from the chronic files from the empty space?
The alternative approach will be to open new messages after a certain number and will already track consumption history which is removed from the disk. ... but it does not seem a very easy solution; -)
So, my question is, is there a way to remove processed / tailed entries from the chronicle?
You can now find out when a circle rotates and removes old files like in the day Once.
The impression is that the cost of disk space is cheap, although it is not always right.
