lightbox - current approaches for designing image heavy photo sites? -

I have just returned to web design after about 10 years .. things have changed.

After some research I can see that the old school HTML page has been digitized and CSS based responsive application has changed it.

My initial searches have shown that I would probably need to use it:

  • Extensive use of CSS / JQuery / JS
  • RESPONSIBLE
  • Very low HTML endorsement
  • Healthy vendor object / module / app based design
  • to return serveride globing JSON folder contents
  • < / Ul>

    Is there any other important techniques / technologies, I should have my head, because It is already doing the same thing just Div layouts ..

    clear .. I & lt; A href = photo_detail.php? Id = 123 & gt; & Lt; Img .. & gt; & Lt; / A & gt;

    I have made a start here -

    I am contemplating using a paid service such as a photographer - but my first reaction It is that they are actually CSS heavy, and are not adequately adaptable. On the other hand, back end photo upload / management app is very useful and lots of work is just for your site, so I w All this manual recycling C, must on OS / directory level with thumbnail generation and more.
