html - <a> tag starts a new line with overflow: hidden -

I want to know if any & lt; A & gt; 2 line I gave it to & lt; Span & gt; and I have hidden for Liquidas and have set the overflow to do text-overflow and the end result is that '...' but the rest of the links start a new line under it. Is there any way to just end the link with '...' and ignore the rest?
