object - SSIS Variable Naming Limitations -

I have an object variable name that holds the first row of the file FileHeaderRecords. I have a script component to isolate this line, then I'm counting the number of row lines (1 be) with the line counter, then I'm loading it in the dataset.

I have a line viewer and dataset between the data counter and it shows that a line is loading in the dataset. All this has been resolved within my data flow.

I have a script task that connects to the data flow and in this I am counting rows in the FileHeadreak object variable.

The issue is that 0 is returning, but if I, for example, change the name of the variable for "test", it gives 1 which is correct?

Is the fileholder records variable name confused with a system variable name or something?
