mongodb - Creating UI for Mongo DB in Meteor App -

I want to create a UI for a meteor application which is capable of extracting and displaying information from Mongo DB on a different machine. Currently I am going through it and am trying to adapt it. Am I going in the right direction or are there other ways to do this? I'm new to the meteorite, would appreciate any help. Thanks
