windows 7 - Loss of Resolution using Display Port Adapter -

I have a laptop running Windows 7, which is set to connect to two Asus monitors. My laptop (Lenovo) has only one VGA and one display port. When these are monitored, then I should use a display port for VGA adapter. Both monitors go to different KVM switches that are connected to the monitor.

Monitor A It seems that the monitor is connected through the display port adapter, a common name shows LCD / VGA and there is a (recommended) resolution which is maximum 1280X1024 Monitor B. Other monitors show the correct (recommended) resolution of the correct name ASUS VS238 and 1920X1080

When I switch cables, then A = Display Port Adapter and B = Direct VGA Resolutions Switch A = 1920X1080 Max and B = 1280X1024 Max.

I have tried to use a custom resolution through screen resolutions, a computer reload, KVM launch switch, a new 1920X1080 driver for monitor, and NVIDIA control panel. Nobody starts doing work.

Is it possible that the display port device breaks information communication in some way? Any other signs?

Do you have to disclose KVM switches (SS) with your setup It seems that your KVM Switch (ESD) did not do EIDID emulation between DWD communication via KVM switch (S) and your connected system.

But to make sure, this is an EDID emulation issue
