I am a newcomer to Kakti, so please excuse my conspiracy here. I would like to assemble the SNMP data collected through the data template 'Interface High Speed Statistics' (as defined in interface_hosepaid.exml, $ CACTI_HOME / resource / sn_p_iciors). I can click my way around the Cakti GUI, and after ensuring that the above XML file is listed as a data collection method:
- On 'Create graph' Click on graph type and select 'SNMP High Speed Interface Statistics' to get results
I want to know whether:
- Is there an API to do this? Or, alternatively, know that what RRD file is made of, so that I get the command to get the content in the rrdtool dump or XML format, then I in my data analysis application I can parse (which is completely different from Kakati, and is written in Python).
Any help greatly appreciated.
Thank you, Truepster
- Open the graph.
- Click on the tool or the Spanner button.
- DEF: / var / lib / cacti / rra / rra-file: AVERAGE
