I can access various Pearl modules such as Moose and data :: alias from my system administrator . The system is Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5, which is running Perl 5.8.8. The only problem is that I can think that some previously installed modules may need to be upgraded and thus the risk of breaking something can be run.
