java - Does ZMQ compress messages? -

I'm interested in finding out whether ZMQ already compresses them before sending the message, so that Not to be messed up twice to make a message twice.

If it does, is it automatic, or is there an option to specify?

I am using Java, but this is not really the thing I think for libzmq it does not matter.
