python - Sublime text & Linux-KDE. System locales is set to a value that can not handle non-ASCII characters -

When I open ST3, I am getting this error package control is not working.

Package control is set to the local value of your system which can not handle non ASCII characters. Package control can not work properly unless it is fixed.

On Linux, please reference your distribution docs to properly set the LANG environment variable. As a temporary job, you can launch Sblaim text terminal:

LANG = en_US.UTF-8 sublime_text

Does not temporary work assignments . Also, when I wrote 'locale' in Terminal I, I get:

  locale: Can not be Elsi_sitisiiiii set the default locale: No such file or directory locale: can not be set LC_MESSAGES to default locale: can no such file or set: Directory location default LC_ALL: No such file or directory LANG = en_EC.UTF -8 language = hi: es the LC_CTYPE = "en_EC .UTF-8 "LC_NUMERIC = en_EC.UTF-8 LC_TIME = en_EC.UTF -8 LC_klate = "In_akkutf-8" Lk_monetri = In_akkutf -8 LC_messges = "In_akkutf-8" Lk_pepr = In_akkutf -8 LC_nam = In_akkutf -8 LC_adres = In_ak. UTF-8 LC_TELEPHONE = en_EC.UTF-8 LC_MEASUREMENT = en_EC.UTF-8 LC_IDENTIFICATION = en_EC.UTF-8 LC_ALL =

Please do help I Ubuntu + KDE, I'm now coding There is no sublay package installed.

The same issue while trying to install package control on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS within ChromeOS's croats , Sublime Text Build 3083.

A good solution to this problem even exists in duplicate this problem:

Solutions LANG = en_US.UTF-8 / opt / sublime_text / sublime_text "sublime .desktop unity launch As is, "Bash -c" is included in the /usr/applications/share/sublime_text.desktop file adding the appropriate Exec lines as follows:

  [Desktop entry] version = 1.0 Type = application name = sublime text genericName = text editor comment = code, latest text editor for markup and posts Sho Exec = "-c LANG = en bash .UTF-8 / opt / sublime_text / sublime_text% F 'terminal = false mime type = text / plain; Icon = Sublime-Text Categories = TextEditor, Development, StartupNotify = True Action = Window; Document; [Desktop Action Window] Name = NeW Window Exec = bash -c "LANG = en_US.UTF-8 / opt / sublime_text / sublime_text -n" ShowIn = Unity; [Desktop action document] name = new file exec = bash-c "lang = ns.utf-8 / opt / sublimation_text / sebelime_text - araman newfile" only shoe = unity;

Note that you will need sudo to edit that desktop launch file.
