linux - gdbserver 7.9 missing from http://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/gdb/gdb-7.9.tar.gz -

I downloaded the tarb gdb-7.9:

after running Configure / create / install, I know that the gdbserver binaries are unavailable:

[Root @ Machine Bin] #LS

Gcore GDB

While I To download tarfile from 7.8 and run / install / run, gdbserver is there:

[Root @ Machine Bin] # ls

gcb gdbserver

< P> I have the following questions:

Is gdbserver intentionally missing from gdb 7.9?

If so, will it be added later in the date?

Is GDB 7.9 compatible with older versions of GDB server?

Thanks for your help

Running Configuring / Running After

P> If you have unsupported OS, or cross-compiling, then it can not be installed. Unfortunately, you have not provided any details in which you are creating OS, and which compiler you are using.

Whether GDB 7.9 is compatible with older versions of GDB server

In general, GDB never regards remote systems as nothing It can not even be a GDBrover, but rather a GDB stub for some embedded OS), and always talks about the capabilities supported by inquiries for them. / P>
