I am launching a new app and have tried to take steps to release the beta version of my app ( Google Play Store before actual launch).
Even so I have done so far. 1. Uploaded a beta apk 2. Enough meta data was filled up so that the portal allowed to 'publish' my app, so I have no output APK, only one Beta APK 3. A Google for the examiner The group has been created and linked to Google Groups in my beta list.
So my question is, I know that members of Google Groups who are using for testing should be logged in. They are in the play store with the same account in my group with Google testing have joined.
Assuming that they are logged into the Play Store with the right account on the device, will they be able to see the app in My Beta only?
Errors 'in the Play Store' message linked to the developer portal 'Exits with the message' We are sorry, the requested URL was not found on this server. Which makes sense to me because there is no APK in my app at this time (this is run from my desk top, not device).
So my question is, how will the tester find my build to install it or it is an indication that I have lost one step in preparing an APK for beta distribution.
Then it was very clear after sorting by document.
The URL listed on the same screen is where you manage the testers. You share that URL with the investigators (who have joined the group) when they use that URL on their phone And after signaling you will be able to see and download your app.
Works like a charm.
