This is a fully supported flow and will be for the near future. However, the use of flow is frustrating for both safety and efficiency reasons. Please see the following answers as to why this is a little disappointing.
This flow should be reserved primarily for command-line tools or scenarios in which an interactive flow is not possible simply not possible.
You may consider using Active Directory Authentication Library (ADL) if you do not want to apply OAuth 2.0 interaction manually
