Lost connection to mysql during query, mysql workbench -

I have the same problem when I want to index a very large table in my non-exclusive column which is a It's integer, and I tried all those solutions which are proposed in that post, which contains at least one vote. I still could not fix it. Any other ideas?

I have enough memory:

max_allowed_packet: 2G, innodb_buffer_pool_size: 9G

All the settings specified in time are set to much and compared to the default Numbers Although it is not necessary that mysql to lose connection in workbench is an answer to this. When it comes to long lasting questions in the mysql workspace, even if someone changes mysql workspace parameter, then it seems that a connection time_out problem is still decreasing, run the query from the mysql command line and See that it works. If this works when you run mysql from the command line and does not belong to the workspace, then you only know this a mysql workspace problem and no other problem.
