nested - Trying to validate a piece of HTML -

Everyone.

This is my first question I have searched for "The last tag has violated the rules of the nest for nest". And have already answered some topics, but they are a bit old.

I'm trying to get the following valid, but it fails:

  & lt; Li & gt; ; & Lt; A href = "#" headline = "some title" & gt; & Lt; Div class = "some square" & gt; & Lt; Img src = "http://somepathtoimage.com" alt = "some optional text" /> & Lt; / Div & gt; & Lt; H3 square = "some square" & gt; Some text & lt; / H3 & gt; & Lt; / A & gt; & Lt; / Li & gt;  

Any help is appreciated.

and lieutenant & lt; Li & gt; tag, & lt; A & gt; should be worse inside the tag & lt; Div & gt; and & lt; H3 & gt; to Span & gt;
