.htaccess - php files are not accessible, getting 404 status -

I'm facing a weird problem only via the PHP file URL not available to me status 404 < / Code> Getting the error Other files (HTML and image files) are available on the server.

All folders are allowed - 755 and files are allowed to 644.

Here is my .htaccess file content

  authUserFile "/home/data/mysite/.htpasswds/public_html/passwd" AuthName "sda news" & lt; IfModule mod_rewrite.c & gt; RewriteEngine On RewriteBase / RewriteRule ^ index \ .php $ - [L] Revcranked% {REQUEST_FILENAME}! -f rewrite% {REQUEST_FILENAME}! -D rewriteable /index.php [L] & lt; / IfModule & gt;

Can anyone help me in solving this problem?

try this ...

  AuthType Basic AuthName "SDA News "AuthUserFile" /home/data/mysite/.htpasswds/public_html/passwd "Valid-user is required & lt; IfModule mod_rewrite.c & gt; RewriteBase / RewriteCond on the reinsurance engine% {SCRIPT_FILENAME}! -f Rewrite Convert% {SCRIPT_FILENAME}! -D rewriteAril. ^ (. *) $ Index.php / $ 1 [L] & lt; / IfModule & gt;
