wordpress - Share domain between two services -

There is a bit of a strange question but we have a blog that we have been running and managed on a long duration Increase in a fair amount of traffic Now we want to move the main content to a WordPress post but keep a small post on Tumblr.

Effectively, we do not want to go to the WordPress site until it is in the form of a URL * and after that it will show the tumbler post

Any idea about doing so How will you go?

All requests for the host name ( ourdomain.com , in this case ) will go to a server, but after that ( / post / * ) will be the request of the that server means that you have a There can not be two servers under the hostname ... unless you can set up a proxy on the server .

This is not really practical, but you can start the URL with / post / to be proxied with a tumbler at different addresses (like Ourdomain.tumblr.com ). However, this means that the post will be available on also ourdomain.tumblr.com/post/ *

. Just a subdomain on blog.ourdomain.com is a separate tumbler and keep the main site on WordPress.

This works because blog.ourdomain.com is a separate hostname from ourdomain.com and hence it should be indicated on a different server Could.
