I am currently working on a large number of HDD databases for a small building and the system I just It has the desire to work right up to my employer.
My current problem is to sign and sign out every hard drive using macros with some VBA coding, a 'check-in' in the hard drive and finally 'check out' button Coding currently works for both of these buttons but I have to type the code for both 'check in' and 'checkout' buttons.
Is there a way to convert the location? The button in a string that will then add to the coding and I can put in some sort of array which will automatically detect the output of each button for me?
Macro Is a simple .
Show details My Excel sheet is illustrated below, with most of the current cells programmed with the formula because this system should be quite automated for less efficient computer users.
Edit:
After clicking on the button, my initials are added at the end of the current time / date. All the results of several buttons need to be in different cells.
My recommendation would be to avoid using a button, and instead the SelectionChanged event for the worksheet The handler must be overridden. Change the button into formatted cells, which when clicked will execute the action you expected.
First of all, configure your user to return a value. One way to do this is by placing the code below for the UserForm in the code-back:
Get the public property initially () as string initialization = txtInitials.Text End Enter the following property in
next
next
/ P>
Private sub worksheet synchronization change (valve target in the form of range) as the dim assimilation In the form of ring dim ceit styling dim STT as styled dim frame frame as the initial form if target.column = 13 then set frmInitials = new initials frmInitials.Show sInitials = FrmInitials.Initials unload frmInitials sDate = Date sTime = Time Room (Target Line, 6) .Value = sDate + "/" + stime + "" + Chemical End If End Sub
When User Column 13 (M- "Check out"), the user's Program will be displayed when prompted for the user itials. Once they have entered them and pressed the OK button, then the end of the initial timestamp will be added and inserted into column 6 (F) of the same row.
