Using built-in WPF Settings for non ClickOnce application -

I have a WPF application that will be deployed using InnoSetup (and therefore probably will not be a click-on app) Store the settings in the Visual Studio Project under the Properties underlying settings. I need to preserve user settings after every update.

However, I have found that if the assembly version changes, the app overwrites the user's settings.

In this article () tells for non-click once the user settings are stored in the 'Documents and Settings' folder (which is fine), but this is not the case for my project - does this Is there somewhere in the project, so I get it to be a 'non-click one time' application and therefore the settings to be accessible somewhere?

Secondly, I think the settings are updated according to the above article, will it be non-click once for the applications?
