android - State of the art push messaging, reliably receiving background messages -

I am currently using the pointer to push the message to the browser. I am currently developing in the form of a web page, but probably I will be wrapped in the cordova, although I prefer to use the standard API.

The problem is that I have the nature of mobile processes that go to sleep), browser tabs (which are closed or hidden), and need to ensure that connections and listeners stay on time The message is sent to the device.

As I understand it can be solved using a service provider

(see)

, however, It is not clear that the Signal Client Side Library is designed to work inside a service employee ... it seems to use jquery.

Has anyone misled this path?

I am unfamiliar with the signal, but the way to implement this article has been shown.
