I want to profile a local Tommak web application with Visual VM, but when I start Visual VM and Open Tomato Connection The option is disabled in the Applications menu and I can not give it a profile. I am using Visual VM 1.3.8 and My JAVA_HOME JDK 1.8 folder. I am launching Tomcat via Eclipse Kepler and my Catalina.bat file, I am launching Tomcat with JDK 1.8. In Eclipse I am working as a default environment with JDK 1.8. I tried to change the TMP folder because I read about it on other issues like me, but although I have my TMP folder in the C: \ Temporary directory, the profile tab does not show up.
What do I do? What are I doing wrong?
Can you follow the VM option, VM from the remote profile in the scene?
-Dcom.sun.management.jmxremote.port = XXXX
-Dcom.sun.management.jmxremote.ssl = Incorrect
-Dcom Sun.management .jmxremote.authenticate = false
