I am trying to scrape web data but login is required for the first step I successfully login to other websites I am able to do this but I have a strange error with this website.
Library ("acknowledgment") library ("Magritor") research & lt; - sign in html_session ("https: //www.fitchratings.com/") & lt; - Research% & gt;% html_nodes ("form")%>% extract2 (1)%>% html_form ()% & gt;% set_values ('username'
When I run the 'submit_form' line, I get the following error: * 'ABC', 'password' = "1234") Research & lt; - Research% & gt;% submit_form (signin):
& gt; Research & lt; - Research% & gt;% + submit_form (signin) '& lt; Unnamed & gt; Submitting error with: length (url) == 1 is not correct
The deposit with anonymous name is correct / B, no sign has been given to sign in button in it. Appreciate any help!
I had the same problem I was able to jump through some hoops to get lion run version Jumped up, and it is now working smoothly. Here's how I went about it:
The first thing first You need to install RT ool to make sure that the R is closed. It can be found here. And here you can find information for installing Rtools (if you are using Windows): github.com/stan-dev/rstan/wiki/Install-Rtools-for-Windows
boot up R, then install the "httr" and "Rcpp" to the libraries if you do not already have it.
Install the "devtools" and correlated github installer. The information can be found, but I give you a quick summary of the link repo.
Windows:
install.packages ("devtools") library (devtools) Build_github_devtools () #### #### install.packages ("devtools.zip ", Repos = NULL, type =" source ") before continuing RRR # Remove package after installation unlink (" devtools.zip ")
Mac / Linux:
devtools :: install_github ("hadley / devtools")
Now, the last step to run.
Library (Outreach) Library (RCPP) Library (Demolus) install_gitub ("hedi / escape")
You should now be able to submit_form (Session, form)
and do not experience the error
Error with the 'xxxx': length (url) == 1 is not correct
